Member-only story
University courses nationwide are well underway, along with the convergence of other cyclical familiarities: the pumpkin spice latte is back (earlier than ever), cooler temperatures are incoming (sorry LA and Arizona), yellow school busses partition the morning traffic, football season has kicked off, electric metronomes pierce the morning air, election season is heating up, and Spirit Halloween stores are emerging like magical and orange-tinted fungi. This can only mean one thing: Fall is (unofficially) here. As students have returned to campuses and read their syllabi with some panic or dread, I wish them luck and — with this post — offer them, and maybe you, some help.
College, as you may know, is no easy undertaking. I have the forehead wrinkle to prove it (thanks to my junior year). I finished school in under four years and graduated with a perfect GPA, which is my only qualification for relaying this information — the list of tools that I employed to dominate my studies. Of course, these items and applications can enhance focus in settings and circumstances that transcend traditional university classrooms and lecture halls. Welcome to my cheat sheet.
